About
People are not only a city’s greatest asset, they’re its greatest ally.
Changify is a way for people to join together with local businesses to co-create smarter cities. In the process, they will reduce service maintenance cost and increase service delivery efficiency through real-time feedback loops between the service provider, city and citizens.
How does it work?
Locals will gather together to take a walk, socialise, and share something they care about together. They take photos, exchange ideas and solutions, or make neighbourhood prototypes, and secure backing from local businesses, city councils, groups and brands to help realise the changes.
Step 1. Get together to walk and uncover a local place you care about.
Step 2. Spot something? Take a photo. Add your Field Report on changify.org.
Step 3. Share your report to either celebrate or raise local awareness.
Optional.Have an idea/solution? Shoot a 2min video to get seed funded.
Optional.Pitch your idea to local businesses. Get funded at Changify business pitches.
Benefits
For those who have to maintain and monitor urban infrastructures and city services, D4SC’s Changify platform is a game changer. It comprises a real-time civic engagement social network that cuts through the clutter , increases service efficiency, and lowers maintenance costs.
Changify applies human intelligence with location and sensor data to drive community participation. Issues are prioritised through voting, and then solved by applying insights from active users of the city’s infrastructure (eg – cyclists improving road infrastructure and traffic issues that result in cycling accidents).
Changify enables cities to have a real-time self-identifying, prioritizing and monitoring system to improve urban infrastructure intelligently.
